CorbinCatFan Posted August 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2009 Looking to redeem some Sea Miles for our next cruise. Not worried about loosing these miles but I do have a few questions. If you book with Sea Miles, do you first put down a deposit until the final payment is due (like Carnival)? Has anyone had to cancel or rebook a cruise after booking with Sea Miles? I am expecting that it is the same as booking with Carnival as far as "deposit" and "final-payment" refunds. Am I wrong? Has anyone had to re-schedule a cruise using Sea Miles? Thanks in advance. cardinalfan Posted August 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2009 I booked a cruise using my sea miles about a month ago. I was told that it is nonrefundable. If I understood correctly, I can change it to another date by paying a $50 fee.
flamingolover Posted August 30, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 30, 2009 CorbinCatFan I have booked a couple of cruises with my SeaMiles and have never had any trouble. You pay a deposit and then have a deadline by which the final payment has to be made. I have paid in installments and had no problem. This past year I did have to cancel a cruise. I had not yet paid the final payment and I got all of my money back except for a $75 processing fee. Hope this gives you some information you were looking for.
