  1. No one would ever book one of those refundable rates with suites anyways.
  2. I couldn't imagine paying $5000 with the pools open.
  3. I have to agree...I couldn't wait for the Oasis class ships to come out and have sailed them plenty. Icon as soon I saw the pics and videos of what I now call SpongeBob SquarePants of the Seas I have no interest in it at all...this ship is strictly catered to attract kids...no interest. I know Royal Caribbean is a family line but Icon took it to another level. Put that together with the entitled world we now live in and it's a recipe for something I don't want to be part of.
  4. Nothing seems to have been officially announced but I am going to bet if you look at the offer relationship between MGM and Royal it will probably be similar. Top tier MGM is offered yearly 7 night balcony sailing and I think it was second from top tier for MGM was offered a yearly 3-5 night Oceanview sailing....onboard credit is also offered depending what level player you are. I would think the relationship with Hard Rock will probably be something similar. Hard Rock has already been having promotions depending your level for Royal Caribbean sailing vouchers for a free cruise for like the past 6 months now already. The first time like 6 months ago that Hard Rock had a free Royal Caribbean voucher offer the line was wrapped around the casino hours long....thats how many people showed up in response. I believe that as soon as they saw that they knew they had something going. Prior to that first offer starting about a year ago Hard Rock had sent out surveys to ask if they formed an association with a cruise line what cruise line would you like to see it with....obviously Royal Caribbean won out in response. They also did have Royal reps on site to immediately assist in booking.
  5. When you go into the travel agent site and click "exclude non-refundable deposit fares" it give rates for suites. While staggering in price difference it does give refundable rates on suites.
  6. Spot on....however I would push it a few blocks over more....like the Westin Beach Resort and anywhere north of it.
  7. The difference between March and April is who is on spring break....March is primarily college....some elementary and high schools but big college. April spring break is primarily all elementary and high school...so family oriented.
  8. Cause the food on Coco Cay like Labadee sucks. I was actually happy to see better choices at Hideaway.
  9. You can get a refundable deposit rate on just about every category cabin including suites.
  10. Just off Wonder last week ago and Playmakers were showing the games. However there isn't a Playmakers on Adventure...so not sure where would be playing or if they will have.
  11. Abby is part of the new entitled world...always looking for sympathy.
  12. Exactly....and be happy they even took the time to contact you to let you know:)
  13. Yes....I don't even hang up till I receive and view the invoices to make sure all is right.
  14. LOL....I just went through this just now with Club Royale. Saw your post and decided to call and give another go at upgrading my comp interior on the 3 night to be in the same OV balcony as I am in on the 4 night. They originally told me $472 to upgrade. I asked how are you coming up with that...he tells me that is the upgrade fee for both of you combined. I said that sounds high and lets do a breakdown...I looked up pricing myself and came up with $267 total for both of us. He says yea but then you have to add on port fees and taxes...I said we already paid port fees and taxes. He does the math again and comes up again with $472. I said what aren't you getting...if I paid port fee and taxes on the interior why would I again pay port fees and taxes on the balcony?!?!? Finally after going back and forth he agrees with me and says see your point....so the upgrade would be $267...THANK GOD....felt like I was talking to the wall. In any case decided to go for it since both the wife and I get the same offers and for the 4 night we were able to both use our casino comp offers and book 2 connecting OV balconies along with double FPsince we each got our own cabin. So long story short....we will be in the same OV balcony now for the 3 and 4 night and have the connecting balcony for the 4 night also.
