Azamazing Evening in Crete

Has anyone done the Greek wedding performance evening in Crete? We've only done one event before (in Rio) which wasn't "amazing", but was a fun way to spend a couple of hours. We just enjoyed getting off the ship and seeing something we wouldn't have otherwise. But I am curious what the consensus is on this event or would we be better off wandering the town on our own that night?

We really enjoyed this event. It was easy to tender to shore where they had tables set up in front of a stage. The tables were set with carafes of wine, and Greek desserts. The music and dancing, combined with the setting on the water was really special. Some people joined in a wedding 'conga line'. A highlight was the fireworks display over the Quest. Much more fun than wandering the town, imo. Have a great time!

We did and it was lovely. Had a beautiful evening. Weather was cooperating and so were the seas.

Wow! Thank you so much for the replies. The description on the AZ site didn't sound too promising, but your recommendations and pics have made me excited for this event!

We did it too - such a fun evening and in a lovely setting right on the pretty harbour front. I would definitely go rather than just wandering the town.
