What do people think of Carnival Splendor? Is it too old?

Keep in mind that Splendor is newer than every conquest class ship...not old at all.

When living in Los Angeles, we are very limited to the newer ships that come out here. We have had the Jubilee, holiday, ecstasy, imagination, inspiration and a few other ships that are slipping my mind at the moment. It's nice to get a change of pace out here every so often... so while the ship may be nine years old, relatively new to us on the West Coast.

Splendor was great - Mar q was our cruise director - he was a blast, ship was great, crew was awesome and seemed to really like being on that boat. Would go again without a doubt

I have wanted to sail on her but have not done so. I am curious to see her.

We loved the Splendor, absolutely amazing crew. My only complaint is no 2.0 upgrades.

We weren't fans of the Splendor. She was a tad bit rundown in our opinion, but we had some other issues pop up with excursions, the spa, and the MDR that caused us to be a little sour towards her. And yes, the Splendor is VERY pink.

I am going on her in 27 days (Sept 18) and I am really excited. Pink ship and all.

No, we haven't. We are limited because I can't fly. I do remember the second incident. :D

Cruises to Hawaii are scarce next year. We are taking, DS, DIL, and Gdaughter, and they wanted CCL.
