Room Service

I am certainly not wanting to start a tipping war (God forbid) but need someone who has travelled Regent in the past to give me some information.

So, here is the question:

I am assuming that we will be expected to tip the steward if we order room service. We have always done so on other cruise lines, but don't want to commit a faux pas if it is not done on Regent.

Also, I believe that I have read that the tip is added to your account automatically in the spa. Can anyone tell me if this is correct?

No tipping for room service. Period.

Yes, the spa will automatically add a service fee.

Actually the spa does not automatically add a service fee to your bill because an 18% gratuity is already included in the posted spa prices. There is no need to tip further.

Thanks so much to both of you for your responses. We board the Mariner on Wednesday and are very much looking forward to the Regent experience.

I say tip if you want to but not necessary. This is your personal choice and nobody else's business.
