Ensenada Beach and Drinking

Looking to do the 4 day on Carnival that stops in Ensenada. Traveling with my husband and 2 twenty year olds. We have done the east coast version of this cruise that stops in Nassau and love a beach/resort day pass and/or a stop at Señor Frogs. Is there an Ensenada version of a day like this? Looking for a place that will be clean, moderately safe and drinks will be available as the lack of drinking age is appealing to my 20 year old traveling companions.

I don't believe Ensenada offers any resort style beaching experience as an excursion, although I could be wrong. :confused:

If I were looking for places to eat and drink, I would hit the main streets. There are bars everywhere (a very popular one is at the end of the main street) and a lot of street food and shopping opportunities.

There honestly is not a lot to do in Ensenada, it's a small tourist city. Their main tourist attractions are their wine tasting and blowhole excursions. :)

Papas n Beer is popular with the Spring Break crowd. Lots of places that are better but don't have the same ambience.

Is it close to the port? Are the main streets close?

The main tourist area is a 10 minute walk from the dock.
