early room service

Just received notice from Seabourn that our scheduled stop at Colombo, Sri Lanka had been changed to 3am (from 6am) and departure had been moved up from 8pm to 6pm. As a result the independent tour we had booked (to the elephant orphanage) changed their pickup time at the pier from 8am to 6am. Is room service 24 hours a day on the Encore? Will we be able to order breakfast between 5 -5:30 (assuming we can drag ourselves out of bed that early).

It should not be a problem, Seabourn has always offered 24 room service.

Off Oman in 2013 a few of us ordered coffee and pastries at the Sky Bar while watching the weapons transfer onboard for "our marines" at 5am.

The white gloved waiter even set the table with a starched cloth and silver cutlery (in the rain ! ) 😀

The Elephant Orphanage is on our list of favourite tours. We did it many years ago. Enjoy.. J
