cash out obc?

Was anyone ever successfull cashing out remaining obc (casino or otherwise)?

(I like to prepay our gratuities and excursions so that there will not be any bad surprises, and like that I still have extra obc$$ to spend for drinks and such, I am just not sure I want to do that if I am then obliged to spend it all or lose the rest). Celebrity let's you cash out for a 5% fee, maybe msc does something in the line???

Well I've never been in the position of not having used all my OBC and then some, but my understanding is their T&Cs don't allow you to cash out any unused balance, it cN only be used to purchase items and services onboard, which includes the service charge.

I know a friend who was on the same cruise as me had a large OBC (compensation for a changed itinerary, cancelled flights etc) and he was trying to make sure he spent all of it before the final day. Don't think he would have been doingnthat if he could have gotten the unused credit cashed out.

If you have a large OBC, I suggest you consider not prepaying for everything.

Pluca,,,why not purchase some chips in the casino with your obc,,play a hand or two and then cash your chips in??
