Cruise Director and Show team on the Majesty

We were lucky enough to holiday in September and they said that the show team and the cruise director would change for the winter. Will we see new acts? They did all singing and dancing for the two weeks but on previous cruises we have had a mixture of plays and more cabaret style entertainment. Is it the entertainment team on the ship that chooses what style they preform?

We have had the same shows on our last 3 cruises and haven't seen a play since 2012! This however was on Dream not Majesty.

no - the intended programme of shows for the show team are determined back in the UK by their management company and they rehearse those shows. Plays are used from time to time but most often on repositioning cruises with more days at sea as a rule but not exclusively.

New CD from November on Majesty will be Shep - 'The Bloke from Stoke' (he has been on Spirit & Dream in the last year) along with Adam Brooks as ACD (he has been both on the Dream & Celebration since 2014). Lauren Morgan & a new team member will be Ents Hosts.

We have seen all four & I think it will be a great team!

We have always found that there are plays if Richard Gray is the CD as he is a trained actor and enjoys doing them. Believe he was on Majesty this summer after many years on Spirit, but not sure if he is moving ship for the Winter.

We had a play on the dream last week.

Richard Grey left the majesty and thomsons in july so won't be on a Thomson ship in the future

We saw Educating Rita last year on the Spirit.

We are on the Majesty from 30th October, do you know if the entertainment team will be changing for this cruise or the next one? Thanks
