Looking for hotel in Miami near port of Miami will need suite hotel

Will need a suite hotel with separate bedroom and sitting area that makes a bed. Thanks :)

What dates are you looking for, and what type of budget are you trying to stay within? Most of the hotels that are all suites are going to be in the airport area. A majority of the hotels downtown have mostly regular rooms, with just a few suites, that can be pricey.

Homewood Suites in the Mary Brickell area of downtown Miami may fit your needs. Many other downtown hotels close to the port may offer suites, but for a price.

Embassy Suites MIA is out near the airport - a 15+ minute cab ride from the port.

What time will you be arriving? One night stay?

I'd choose downtown/Brickell if you have a lot of day to spend.

Otherwise Blue Lagoon airport area has popular chains. Not so much around there tho, if you have time to explore.

Just booked April 2018 for Cuba Cruise so just started searching and looking. Apr. 15, 2018 is when we would need hotel room the night prior to cruise. Thanks

Thank you all for your responses. It will next April 15 just starting to search and look. Book for Cuba. We will probably fly into Fort Lauderdale due to points with southwest and also looking for shuttle service from Ft. Lauderdale air port to Miami hotel. or If we can find a hotel in Ft Lauderdale that has shuttle service to the port of Miami. Thanks

Not decided yet if 2 days before or 1 day before, but know it will at least be day prior to cruise. Flight's for April 2018 have not came out yet so hard to same what time we would arrive

Thanks, We are trying to find something near the Miami beach since it's our first time to Miami. Well just keep looking as you said all hotels have yet to open booking this far out.

Then move your search to Miami Beach..which is not the city of Miami. Or you will need to cab/Uber over and back for the visit.

Sorry, I didn't realize that at there were so many different named area's in Miami. I will just delete my post and move on.
