Casino Question

We are going on the fascination next week. We aren't big casino players, but the slots can be fun. Do any of them take actual coins.....or do you have to use a card only?

I've only ever seen slot machines use the card BUT there is a different machine that uses quarters - you drop them in a slot up top and they fall to a floor where a bar moves back and forth pushing them to the edge and you try to place your quarter so that it fills up the floor in a spot where the bar will push a bunch of quarters off the edge. You get to keep whatever falls. Or put them back in the top.

My wife enjoyed playing that and got more out than she put in so we consider that a win. Although not enough to get the casino to give us a bounce-back offer lol.

All of the ships we have been on only use your S & S card. There is the quarter push machine and that is the only one I know of that you actually put quarters into.

You can use cash ( bills ) or charge to your sign and sail card.

Coin play is over lol

I've sailed Carnival long enough to remember the cute cardboard buckets and carrying them over to the cashier. The cards aren't as fun but definitely way more convenient.

$$ bills work too.

I have never seen coin operated machines but there are some that accept cash and cards.

Only the quarter machine (that someone mentioned above) which is my favorite. It's ridiculous actually bc you're not going to win big but I love that game! You can use dollars though.

I use 20s. If I only use my card it's too easy to loose track of what you've spent! Lol

I'm not sure there are any coin-operated slot machines left in any land based casinos either. I think those days are gone.

Slots take dollars but pay off to the sign and sail card. Make sure you open that account following the directions on every slot machine
