We will be sailing on the POA in March 2012. Just wondering if anyone knows what helicopter company is used by this cruise line for the circle of fire tour out of Hilo?

At least as late as last October they were using Blue Hawaiian for their Circle of Fire tour. You might email Blue Hawaiian and see if it is still so.

Checked with NCL, and yes, they are still using Blue Hawaiian for their Circle of Fire tour. Thanks for the tip.

We were on the POA this past March and Blue Hawaiian did the POA tour in Kauai.

If you want to save $, book directly with Blue Hawaiian. I checked the tours with POA and by booking directly we saved over $100 pp.

We did Safari Helicopter (booked on our own). They were by far the cheapest we could find and we had an amazing time with them. They pick you up at the port and the tour was wonderful. We saved so much money with them and did not feel that the tour was any less for what we paid.
