Luggage storage in dubai

Has anyone used the free luggage storage in the Mall of Emirates. Unfortunately you can't start until 10am. Storage at the airport is costly at 25 dirham/bag for 12hrs.

Does anyone have any alternative suggestions? Our flight is after midnight

We have always used the hotel for storing the luggage but as we also leave late at nite I think we are just going to have to leave it there as late as they allow and we are planning on using hotel transport to airport so that should make it possible. You might check with your hotel - it sounds like they might be used to late leaving customers.

Used luggage storage in airport terminal 1. Cost is 20 dirham/bag. They are under staffed during check in and pickup. It took about 30 minutes to check in and over an hour to secure our bags. We had to also go into the store room to secure our own bags.

Make sure you have the taxi run the meter to the airport rather than a flat rate.

The metro is easy to used and can save a lot of money for your days travel in Dubai
