So that all questions may be viewed and receive the same wonderful attention, please take a moment to scan posts and notice if your question (or an almost identical one) has already been posted the same day or the day before - this happens often with popular questions like transport from ship to port, port to city and forms of transportation. Scanning these threads will often lead to answers to your questions but if you still have a question, you can post a follow up; thread subscription and our kind members ensure you'll receive a prompt reply.

Consolidating frequent questions helps make other questions more visible for all of us to notice and help provide answers/suggestions; things like pizza in Naples, side trips from Venice, the villages of Cinque Terre or a vineyard in Tuscany - or even what's the difference between a vaporetto and a water taxi? Of course getting to/from the ship and port is paramount to everything else but if we can keep those questions to one per day and share the answers in a thread (one for any port city per day) then we can offer each other more help on other topics, wouldn't you agree? That's where the fun is, after all ;)
