Britannia Transactlantic - children

I booked on the Britannia yesterday for the transactlantic crossing in October. (Very excited)

Just wondering if there are many children on board usually for this sailing as I will have my 8 year old son with me for his first cruise.

I would think it unlikely that there will be many children on board as they will need to be taken out of school which is strongly discouraged and can result in a fine. Even though half term is in October, the transatlantic crossing will be longer than the half term break.

We don't have the same rules in NI regarding children out of school so hoping even just 1 or 2 kids to play with would be great.

But it will be nice if there isn't that many too. :D

We was on the Transatlantic last October. Although we did not have children with us, there seemed to be quite a few and they seemed to be having a great time in the kids club.

We were on the first Caribbean cruise after the transatlantic last November and the kids club staff told us there were about 350 kids on the transatlantic so your son likely will not be alone! There were only 40 kids on ours so they were looking forward to it being a bit quieter!
