luci Posted August 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2004 Have seen a website where you can go and find out what all the cruise ships have to offer on board, such as hair dryers, washers and dryers. Experiencing a senior cruiser moment and can't think of the site. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance Luci

luci Posted August 14, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted August 14, 2004 Hi Everyone! :D Found this website: http://www.cruisemates.com/articles/reviews/ Click on the cruise line, then the ship. Gives lots of info. Even has a $5.00 rebate for those of you who use the Transderm Patch. I was wanting to know if the ship we are cruising on has hair dryers, as some do and some don't. Don't want to have to take along any unnecessary baggage.:) Found the info on this site. Enjoy your cruise, everyone!
serene56 Posted August 14, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 14, 2004 Be careful with hairdryers onboard...If you have long or thick hair it will take forever to dry. Also on some ships the hairdryer has a button that you need to continuiosly press in.
catamaran Posted August 14, 2004 #7 Share Posted August 14, 2004 There is a better way. Ask on this board and you will get more information than you need, promptly! For example, the basket of amenities on CCL is not as nice as on Holland America or on Princess, but it is adequate.CCL provides robes in all but inside cabins. CCL now charges for cappuccino after dinner, whereas it was free last year.Ditto for espresso after dinner in didng room. On the other hand, the pizza parlor is 24/7 and good. I was considering bringing my own hairdyer. I think I am convinced that I will have to do that.
serene56 Posted August 15, 2004 #9 Share Posted August 15, 2004 I look forward to your review on Saphire Princess. I am doing research on an alaska cruise and so far everything points to that ship. Have never sailed Princess.
