Your ship docks at 7am -doesnt mean you will be getting off at that time.

You wont be able to take your luggage to check in at the airport either. They wont let you check in until 3 hours before your flight.

May I suggest that you take in a liesurley breakfast, (leave your carryon stuff in the cabin- let the cabin steward know you will be back) check out the ships cabins. Some cabins will be vacated after you get down breakfast and the doors will be left opened. Be one of the last ones off.

Look into getting a hotel room for the day rate... rent a car to store the luggage. take a tour of the city.

In OSJ near the Carnival pier & the Wyndham, there's a place called audiogilla or something like that that will hold your bags for $1 per bag all day. It's about a $12 cab ride from the Pan American Pier & she hails you a taxi to the AP when you pick up your stuff. We just walked around OSJ to the fort & had lunch before heading to the AP.

The Condado Plaza, a short cab drive away from the pier, and within sight of the pier, "USED" to store your luggage for the day while you enjoyed the resort. There was a charge, too, for the use of the room for the day, but it seems to me that it wasn't bad at all. Check it out on their web site and enjoy your upcoming vacation! ;)

Any suggestions on ways to spend the time after our ship docks at 7am on Sat. and our flight out of SJ is at 6:30pm? Also thoughts on where we could store our luggage for that time? Thanks, dianne

They will store your luggage and provide transportation to the airport for a nominal fee. Many also use Barrachina Restaurant to store luggage.

I would also suggest you check out the San Juan Port of call board. Here is the link:

What ship are you sailing on?

Have a wonderful Cruise
