deck level for an inside cabin

WASUP

Recommended Posts

We are thinking about an inside cabin and it is on the Norwegian Spirit on deck 4, when I look up the deck, there are very few passenger cabins and it is on the level with the medical center and then the other end of the ship, there are no rooms listed, is then crew quarters?

Has anyone been on deck 4? or on a deck that is the lowest passenger deck???

ANy pros or more cons??

Thanks

Although I've never been on that ship, I've certainly had many an inside cabin! Generally speaking, the cheaper the cabin, the lower the deck. If you book a "guarantee," you stand a chance of being upgraded (for free). Many times, I book the lowest category with a guarantee, and I wind up on a higher deck (and once I got upgraded all the way to an outside cabin). However, here's something you should know: you feel less motion on a lower deck than an upper one, in spite of the fact that upper deck cabins cost more. The most stable cabins of all are on lower decks in the center of the ship.

Hope that helps!

The lower decks are almsot always quieter. Not a lot of people passing in

the hallways. Crew quarters are not on the same deck as passenger cabins. There cabins are under all that area.

I agree with the other posters. We've stayed in several inside cabins on lower decks - they are quiet and you don't feel much motion at all.

I, too, try to get a guarantee and have been upgraded to an outside.:)

Happy Sailing!
