Moorea Mario?

Has anyone been on a tour with the guide Mario in Moorea? (Safari Mario Moorea)

We would love to hear how you enjoyed it and where you went etc. :)

I feel like I'm following you around the South Pacific board now lol. We did our Moorea tour with this guy, but it was as the ships offered 4x4 tour, but it sounds like it's the same tour he offers privately. It was lots of fun, but I have to say some of the driving was a bit scary, particularly going up to one of the lookouts which was a tiny road with a steep drop of either side. The car was just bench seats either side of the covered rear of the vehicle, so you bounced around a bit bit it added to the rusticness of the trip. You will get dirty, my cream linen shorts were covered in red dirt by the end. He was very funny though and took us to some beautiful spots.

If you want a more 'exhilarating' tour around Moorea you should consider an ATV or SSV tour. We booked with Albert and it was fantastic!! He also offers other tours- jetski, 4X4 etc....
