Sailing the Freedom on 9/16-Hotel called, canceled

Just FYI, we had a reservation at the Baymont Inn-Galveston secured for the night before we set sail on the Freedom, but they just called and canceled our reservation. At this time they are not taking private guests, only displaced Texans. This won't be a problem for us as we are semi-locals and have many family members to choose from to stay with, but for those that don't have that option, I would suggest contacting your hotel and verify your reservation is still in good standing.

Our room was canceled at the Country Inn and Suites but I was able to book a room at the Hotel Galvez. Give them a call and see if they have something for you. It's a little more expensive - maybe FEMA isn't putting people in it because of the cost.
