Shana51 Posted August 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 30, 2015 We will be doing 9 B2Bs in Jan. ( escaping winter)..on Allure. We have previous experience with B2B so know the routine on turn around day. On those days when we left the ship to go into the city the other cruise line had a special entrance for in-transits to re-board...it was the crew entrance in the terminal bldg. I believe Allure will use terminal #18 once she is back at PE....will there be a separate entrance for in-transits in this terminal? ..or perhaps an express line for security only since we won't need to " check-in".... Thank you for any responses..

When we did our consecutive cruises on Allure we did not want to explore the town, so we waited with others who had the same plans, we were all escorted off, went through Customs & Immigration, had a new photo taken and then were escorted back onto the ship through the normal gangway once a zero count had been recorded. I think it was a matter of 10-15 minutes. If you decide to leave the ship for a while, you will be given "in-transit" cards that will allow you, when you return, to bypass all those that are checking in, but you will just follow the crowd onto the ship. Shana51 Posted August 30, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted August 30, 2015 ..thank you for that response. You say you had new photos taken...if we leave the ship...where do they make you go for a new photo...as an in-transit? Surely not in the main check-in crowd....

You will follow those that are boarding and with your "new" SeaPass Card in hand, they will scan it before you are allowed to board. If your photo did not transfer from the previous cruise, it will be taken at that time. A matter of less than a minute. Did you have to have a new photo taken? We didn't on our B2B! All we do is b2bs and our experience has been that yes they were able to transfer from the previous cruise, only one of us had our picture transferred, both of us did not have our pictures transferred...........it all depends on the ship and the way they transfer info. On our consecutive cruises on Allure, my photo transferred but my husband's did not. Edited August 30, 2015 by cruisenfever
