Skagway Train Trips

Going in June and need a recommendation on 1/2 rail trip Prefer Rail trip up and bus return

I researched them on TripAdvisor and elsewhere and booked with Chilkoot Charters for our August Regatta voyage.

We've used Dyea Dave several times, van ride up and train back if you want the train. He is terrific but offbeat and quirky.

He semi retired a few years ago but he was our driver in 2015. He has a few employees who drive some days including a sister and nephew.

I did Chilkoot Tours a couple of years ago. Loved it and recommend them highly. Train up and bus back works best as it is a long day and many who train back end up asleep for most of the journey.
