time to reach GGB from dock

Recommended Posts

Trying to figure what time for dinner the night we leave San Fran as we want to watch sail away and watch going under the bridge. About how long does it usually take?

We are spending one night here on our Pacific Coast cruise.

Thank you!

We took the 10 day from San Francisco in 2011. We were scheduled to leave port at 4:00 pm. Don't know what happened but we didn't pull away until just about 5:00 pm. It was at maybe 20 to 30 minutes before we hit the bridge. We were up front with a group of people we were traveling with. Stayed up there in the wind and fog for about 45 minutes. Be forewarned - it's cold and very windy.

It is incredible to sail under the Golden Gate Bridge.

We are leaving in a few weeks and will be going under the bridge again. We are scheduled to leave the port at 4:00 pm.

Enjoy!
