2 Questions about Breeze

Hi everyone,

My wife and I will be on the Breeze in October. We can't wait. We were on the Pride in November 2014 on our last cruise. This was right after that ship received the 2.0 upgrades, and we loved it.

First question.....We know the Breeze doesn't have an Alchemy Bar. Has anyone been successful getting any of the bars on the Breeze to make any of the drinks from an Alchemy Bar? Some of those drinks at the Alchemy Bar were fantastic, and we'd love to get something very similar on the Breeze.

Second.....We really liked the EA Sports Bar on the Pride to watch Monday Night Football or College football games on Saturday. Do any of the bars on the Breeze have the multiple TV setup of a Sports Bar?

Thanks!

Lee

My upcoming cruise in September will be my first so I cant answer your questions yet, but my cruise is on the Breeze, so I can definitely report back when I return if you're still wondering at that point! :)

Don't forget to post it:)

The Breeze has 5 TV's at the casino bar and 4 in the Red Frog. The problem is that the broadcast is out of Miami, so what ever is showing there is what you will see.

Some of the cocktails at the wine bar might be similar to Alchemy, but they don't stock the specialty mixers and herbs to be able to duplicate many of them.

Unfortunately there is no sports bar on the Breeze. They have tv's in the casino bar (which has a lot of smoke) and then some in the Red Frog Pub (but not always on sports).

They had no idea how successful and popular the Alchemy Bar would be when they designed the Breeze. Hopefully it'll be part of it's first upgrade. Finding a bartender who can make any of those drinks might be a challenge as different bars have different liquors. I'd suggest finding a recipe for a couple of the ones you liked and bring it with you and hope for the best.

The Breeze is still probably my favorite ship but I get to sail on the Pride with all the 2.0 upgrades next week so I'm looking forward to that.

We sailed on the Breeze 5 times when it was ported in Miami; you can get some of the specialty drinks that they serve on the Alchemy Bar at the Ocean Plaza Bar on Deck 5 and also at the Piano Bar on Deck 5. I always got my favorite pineapple chipotle martini at either bar. I'm not sure of any other martinis that they can make, but they had no trouble with that one. And it was every bit as delicious as the Alchemy Bar's martini......just not made with all the drama and the flourishes that the bartenders at the Alchemy Bar do.........

Thanks everyone for the responses. They were very helpful. The Spicy Chipotle Pineapple Martini was a favorite of ours, as well. Good to know we can get something similar at the Ocean Plaza Bar. Maybe we'll make a game of it by taking a copy of the Alchemy Bar drink menu to see how many different ones we can get made on the Breeze.
