Sailing from Barcelona Taxi to Pier?

We are sailing from Barcelona next month on the Celebrity Silhouette and I would like to know if we take a Taxi from the center of town will a Taxi drop us off right at the terminal D or will it just drop us off at the port and we have to shuttle to the terminal D?

You can take a taxi right to the appropriate pier building, no additional walking necessary. You should also note that there are various sizes of taxis including mini vans. One other thing of note if you have your hotel hail you a cab you should know that the meter starts when a cab driver gets the call, so there may be already a couple of euros on the meter when it arrives. You can also go out to the street to hail your own cab, which is permissible. But depending on where your hotel is it may not be on a street with lots of traffic. If it is then hailing your own is also an option. No need to arrange a car service ahead of time. There are hundreds of taxis in Barcelona!
