Taxi fare

Hello,

Would anyone have a rough idea of cost of taxi from the port in Venice to Marco Polo airport ?? 4 adults - also are there taxis waiting outside to port when ship docks or would you have to prebook one ?? Thanks in advance x

They gave me info from the port to the Mestre Train Station. You reserve and prepay in advance. I've gotten a lot of info on the Venice Trip Advisor forum.

When is your cruise? Ours is not till July.

I just flew home from Venice on Monday. The Venice airport boat from the Fundamente Nouve vaporetto stop to the airport was 15 Euros. I'm not sure if the cruise terminal would be the same price or not. The private water taxis from Venice were over 80 euros. The Venice airport boats run about every 30 minutes.
