Towel Question

Silly question I'm sure...

I've looked for this answer, but can't find it specific to MSC.

Can we use towels from the ship for shore excursions? On other cruise lines we've always been able to do so, but I just wanted to check and make sure that taking towels off the ship and returning them, is an option.

If you are referring specifically to the MSC Divina, then yes. They have towels near the gangway that you can take and they collect them at the gangway upon your return.

Yes, they have special towels available to take on beach excursions. That's been on MSC Mediterranean cruise ships.

Plenty of towels in the gangway. Enjoy your cruise.

If you stay in the Yacht club, they give you shore towels in your room.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, is this policy the same for all MSC cruises. We go on the Musica on 24th May.

Also are towels provided for round the pool?

Yes the provide pool and beach towels across the fleet. You have to hand your card over so they're logged against your cabin number. They say they will charge you for them if you don't return them.

I have returned towels and not swiped my card so there is no charges - just a threat so people do the right thing :eek:

That's has changed on the Divina in the Carib, the towels are now in your stateroom 1pp. They no longer had a towel person on the pool deck as of Feb.
