So Far Good Experience with MSC

We have been cruising with Celebrity and have been pleased with the experience there and but have booked a cruise with extended family with MSC due to better price, water slides and Miami departure. We booked directly with MSC USA and that went well, Lanesse from MSC was able to book our block of rooms.

She then transferred me to Voyager Club where I spoke to an agent about which status to use for the status match. I filled out the online form and submitted it on the weekend. Today I called and they confirmed that both my wife and I receive our Black VC status.

Just need to let our Lanesse know so that she can lower the booking prices by 5%!

Just need to wait till Dec now.....

We also had been matched by the Voyager Club and received 5 percent off our upcoming cruise. However, later I called to check on something and they discovered that the 5 percent wasn't taken off the port charges so then they deducted that! Score!

Keep the cruise price low and everything else is just a minor inconvenience and nothing to lose any sleep on.
