Only one thing and that would be more lighting to see into wardrobe we found it quiet dark.We were in cabin 4105 obstructed view of tender boat, would book this cabin again as it let in a good amount of natural light and could see onto deck below and out to sea/port when the tender was gone. Had a wonderful time and made all the better by the 9mtr swells (QV handled them no problem) and the hat overboard incident. We sailed from Auckland to Wellington via Australia it was our first time on QV and had done 2 previous cruises on QM2 and to be honest we liked QM2 better even though we couldnt fault anything. We did find QV a bit brown and dark in the decor dept having said that im sure if the right itinerary came up on QV we wouldnt turn it down.Crew amazing, food great, service faultless and met some lovely people (and a few weird ones) but thats all part of cruising,:Dnow its back to work and start planning our next cruise. Cheers Allison.

We used to like the QM2 better, but now favour the QV, I think you have been a little unlucky in one way, the reason I say this, It is going in for. a major refit when it completes the World Voyage in May. My wife and I will be getting on board the QV again in early June for the Canaries, a trip we are looking forward too. We are the going on the QM2 Aug/Sept on the transatlantic return trip, we have heard from various friends the ship looks fantastic after it,s major refit, I am not the best traveller on the Atlantic run but I feel confident on the QM2.;p
