buckeye rob Posted September 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2015 Just came off a cruise on RCL's Oasis and used their luggage valet service. Terrific option. Left the luggage out the last night before 11:00 p.m. and didn't see it again until the airport carousel in Cincinnati.Does NCL offer this ? Thanks Gerry
NLH Arizona Posted September 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2015 They use to have something call Bags Program, but I believe it has since been discontinued.

buckeye rob Posted October 8, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted October 8, 2015 (edited) Just curious of when did NCL offer this service and for how long. Obviously it didn't or wouldn't work at the time. Just wondering if it might ever come back. A great service on RCI. $20 per bag, suites free, boarding passes printed and delivered to your cabin the night before. You walked straight to security and didn't touch your bags again until your home airport. Would the interest be there ? Very unlikely that it'd come back - at least anytime soon. Edited October 8, 2015 by Demonyte
MagnoliaBlossom Posted October 8, 2015 #6 Share Posted October 8, 2015 We us edit several times and Ibelieve theyhadcancelled itby our last Hawaii cruise, which was four years ago. They said it was not their choice, but the airlines, due to increased security restrictions.
Demonyte Posted October 8, 2015 #7 Share Posted October 8, 2015 They said it was not their choice, but the airlines, due to increased security restrictions. While the part about increased security restrictions is true, as other cruise lines still offer that service in full force, the only possible reasoning in that would be that NCL didn't want to comply with the stricter rules -- unlike other cruise lines that still want to offer service to the passengers. Misskitty72 Posted October 8, 2015 #8 Share Posted October 8, 2015 Darn! I would totally use a luggage valet service if NCL offered it. I found a few companies that will pick up your bags at your home and deliver them to the port the day of your departure, but they're too expensive for me. Luggage Forward seems to be the most reliable one.
