Breakaway: Dining/GSC questions

Hi there,

I'm hoping you all can help me with two quick questions about the Breakaway:

1. We sail November 8, but the only free dining room open for reservations on the website is the Manhattan Room. Will the other free dining rooms open for reservations before sailing?

2. Our kids want to snorkel at GSC -- should I pay in advance or wait and purchase onboard? Do they run out of snorkels? :) I don't want to pay and then have the kids not use the equipment if the weather is poor.

Thank you!

we went on Breakaway in August, we DID book our dining in advance, and we were able to book Manhattan Room on night, really enjoyed it there.

We had the dining package as part of our promo when we booked, but quite honestly the only one we REALLy enjoyed of those was Teppanyaki.

As far as the snorkeling. our trip was to Bermuda, not Bahamas, but our son and grandson waited to book their shore excursion themselves closer to the cruise to see what the weather was to be. They purchased their own snorkel stuff at home and brought it with them on board. Some people do that we noticed other teens and young adults had their own they brought with them.

A little cheaper that way and they can use them again elsewhere.
