Zaandam Manta port - alternative land tour Dec 8

We are not doing the Galapagos, but noticed that Isla de la Plata in the Machalillan National Park is called the "Little Galapagos." We want to tour the island without all the stops for shopping, panama hats, yada yada yada. Found and booked a customized tour through manta SOS Guide services. It includes entry to the national park and island, boat trip to the island, bilingual tour guide, transfers from bus pick up at port in Manta, water, and a snack on the boat. It is $140 per person, but if we get others, it will go down. The guide can take 4 more couples. NOTE: The boat transfer is about an hour/hour and a half from shore - the island is 24 miles from Puerto Lopez. You will see boobies!!

We also used Manta SOS - the guide, Jesus, I think his name was, was very good. The van was a bit tight, but perhaps you'll have a larger one. We didn't go to islands, just a park to see the howler monkeys, fish market, etc. It was hot!:)

that was last year's - can't figure out how to repost this on this year's cruise, which we start in San Diego Sept 28 - looks like the one that is posted for HA Zaandam starts 9/24 in Vancouver, so I guess I could put this in that roll call, since it continues on - but I can't figure out how to move this to that roll call!

I would just cut and paste into a new post on the roll call (and let this thread die a natural death!:)), but I am decidedly low tech, and there may be a way to move your original post.
