Day Hotel room Venice

Has anyone ever used a day room in Venice we disembark Celebrity Constellation in the morning and we don't fly till 23.20! was thinking of getting a room for the day have done the sights before. Then at about 19.00 will head for airport.

Any thoughts on this

I've been to Venice a few times but I'd still choose to go exploring for another day rather than get a hotel room. I'd use the Left Luggage facility at Piazzale Roma, then head off to another island, or to a Lido beach, any number of options. Then have dinner and take the 9:20pm ATVO express to the airport.
