Solos on Getaway Baltics cruise

Very true. The studios are often the first to sell out. Because the cruise lines use demand pricing, you will often see the price of the studios exceeding inside cabin prices (for two). Sometimes by a significant margin. What's interesting is that no other cruise line has jumped on this concept to the degree that NCL has. I think Kevin Sheehan was ahead of his time beginning with the studios on Epic.

The cruise I was considering, before I got a roommate, was the July 18 Baltics, and apparently the studios are sold out.

I often start with a studio and upgrade myself to balcony (for the same price!).

But Ive got a new PCC so I'm not sure that will continue....

I booked a NCL TA leaving from Copenhagen for next year. I thought long and hard about the studio cabin but booked a balcony because of the length of the cruise. But I will be in a studio cabin for a 7 day Caribbean cruise in December.
