Does anyone know if I can apply a seperate credit or gift card to my child's on board card? I would love to allow them some purchase power, but not an unlimited amount!

Yes. When you do online check in, one of the options is to choose your charging method. You can do a different one for each memeber of your party or the same for all. It comes in handy wheh you (I) travel with adult kids who like to drink ;)

The stores aboard are also able to deduct straight from a Disney gift card I believe.

Wouldn't work for arcade or server purchases though.

ex techie
