My husband and I were on the Bliss recently. We were able to share 1 specialty dining credit at each of Food Republic, Q, La Cucina and Cagneys. We asked about sharing when we booked the reservations and were told it was up to the supervisor at each restaurant; when we checked in at the restaurants and told them we wanted to share it was never an issue. Our server at Cagneys even offered to bring us an extra dessert, but we were too full!

I understand that there are spin classes on the Bliss, but can you access the bikes on your own outside of class time? Or do they have other stationary bikes in the main gym? I hate treadmills LOL

We will be staying with friends in San Diego, North Pacific Beach area, prior to our cruise. What would be the best way to get from there to the cruise port? We do not plan to rent a car, although if that is the best way we could do so for a day. I am assuming we would do the trip on the day of embarkation, January 27th to maximize our time with our friends and avoid having to book a hotel for the night before.

It will be our first time on a Scenic river cruise. We had planned to have a checked bag, a carry-on bag and a personal item each but it seems that we are only allowed one bag plus a personal item - are they really serious about this? What if we show up with the bags we had planned? Also, we will be arriving a few days early in Amsterdam and will have to make our own way to the ship on May 4th. The docs state that embarkation time is after 3 pm - do you know if we would be able to drop our bags earlier since we have to be out of our accommodation by 11 am and it is pretty far from the cruise port.
