Nestor has been on the Joy. We saw him on the Joy at the cavern bar. He has, since changed to the Mojito bar where he and the cowboy were working together. We will be able to see him in December on our next joy cruise.

I didn’t care for the Thermal Suite on the Bliss. There were a lot of people that were being really loud. I don’t know if it’s because it’s a big ship or if it just happened to be the people on board, but it was not relaxing at all. Also, the chlorine was so bad you could almost see it in the air when you walked into the room. On our cruise the Jets in the hot tub were not working either. It was very disappointing. On top of that. I got a horrible sinus infection from all the chlorine in the room.

I would choose the Prima. I have a sensitivity to chlorine and usually end up with a sinus infection from using the spas. I didn’t have any issues on the Prima because of the salt water pool.

He was definitely on the joy. I saw many videos of him dancing around in the Mojito bar. We were on the prima last year, so we booked the Viva for January because we knew he was going to be on the Viva. We are also going on the joy in November to see Nestor our other favorite bartender. Nestor and Clarence were together in the mojito bar for several weeks and they had a blast. I would have loved to of been on one of those cruises. They are our two favorite bartenders on all of the NCL ships.

We had reservations on the Prima for Hudsons and though there was a long line they said if you have a reservation go right up to the stand and they will seat you. We were seated immediately.

I am in my 70s and have been on 53 cruises and I have never had a problem on any ship on embarkation day. I check my bags in before I get on the ship and carry my backpack for my necessities. I go to one of the sit down restaurants and have a nice leisurely lunch. There is plenty of room for my backpack, as well as my husbands. We have never had to worry about sitting in the sun, because one side of the ship is always shady. If you go down to one of the lower decks Like deck 8 they have wonderful lounge, chairs, and couches to sit on. There are also plenty of bars and lounges that have tables and chairs if you want to go sit and relax indoors. Even if you choose to bring your luggage on find a nice, quiet place to sit down, and relax and enjoy your day. Read a book or chat with the people you are with. People watch. Look at the scenery. I am a firm believer of making your own fun. Life happens but how we deal with it is up to us.
