Couldn't have said it better myself! There is nothing like getting dressed "to the nines" and then going to dinner. It brings back memories of the golden days of sea travel.

Thanks bud, Propa Cruisas 4 EVA!!!

I think this is one of the best statements I've ever heard on this website....
Thanks for that. Now I know for sure that I'm in with the proper cruisers!!
Is there a forum for proper cruisers where we can share all the insider secrets??
-
I wear a tux because I want people to know I'm a proper cruiser and know all the etiquette.

People sure are obsessed with trying to sneak in an extra bottle of wine, aren't they?
It's rather bizarre behaviour if you ask me.
-
Yes, I see you are from Scotland LOL. No offense.
I see you think tipping extra elevates your status amongst staff and other cruisers.
Thankfully your additional tip will almost cover the additional food you consume.

Agreed. Many passengers don't understand that. :(
I don't think passengers should be expected to understand that. If you're a waiter and someone asks for a drink then you get them a drink.

I sort of disagree with this.
At least here, drivers maintain their own cabs and most own them. They have to pay a certain amount to the dispatching company. They pay for their own fuel as well. If they get you there in an expected time frame at an expected cost, you should always tip.
Absolute nonsense.

I say leave the tip in place & leave extra to those that you feel deserve it.
I say tip what you want.

It's not rocket science. Just give an appropriate amount.
Though, make sure you tip just that bit more than your neighbours. That makes you the better person.

Maybe the machine contains a separate filter that filters the incoming water to Dasani specifications, thereby allowing RCI to use the Dasani name? That would be my best guess. Think about local bottling plants - they are using the area's local water supply and filtering it to produce all of the various beverages. They are not all getting their water from the same source. So, my guess is that they filter the water to such and such purity levels to achieve Dasani quality standards.
It's basically tap water. It's not even properly filtered, and the 'quality standards' are non-existent,

You will weigh more due to the effects of gravity, so don't think they'll be much use!
