  1. Thanks. Carnival is similar in that you use your card (if you want) to load the machine from your credit card on file, but it goes down as a purchase, not a cash advance. So no big cash advance fees.

Do you recall what the minimums are on the Blackjack and Craps tables?

So if you play at the casino it pulls as a cash advance on the credit card that is tied to your account? If so, could you just use cash instead of charging the card?

  2. My son did not like egg on the pizza. So, I requested the guy in the picture if he could give me pizza without it. He gladly made few slices for me. I took couple of slices for kids for the flight too :)

That's great news. That pizza looks good but I wouldn't eat the egg either!

It's the photographer, not the camera, baby! :D It's a Canon SX600HS, it's red! I don't want or need anything more than a camera that fits in my pocket, I think I do OK with it.

    Thank you!

I have always heard that!! A good photographer can use anything and take good pictures. I guess I am not that good. Lol. I have a Canon Dslr camera with the changeable lenses and my pictures come out weird. I just can't get the settings right. So I figured why lug around that big thing when I may be able to get something small that takes good pictures!!

I am loving your review btw. We sail June 4th and can't wait!!

  4.

I have a new camera for this trip, well, actually I bought it for my Alaska cruise, but, it arrived Tuesday, so, I brought it with me. Still just a simple point and shoot, but, with more megapixels and zoom.

May I ask what type of camera you have? It takes amazing pictures!!

  5. Do you think its worth calling MSC and finding out if its possible to get an upgrade. We are sailing in June also and would love an upgrade.

I don't think it would hurt to ask. You never know unless you ask!

Did you book with a travel agent or straight with MSC? We booked with MSC directly using one of their PVP's.

  6. haha I told her the same thing, Mike! Hey...Kim and I ended up with an aft balcony on our 2nd leg in July. So excited! :)

Well hey there! My husband posted in this thread but I'm here too. Yep. Everyone talked us into it. We are excited!!

  7. Feel free to ask any other questions there as well. Seems there are a handful on this forum that have been on the ship in the last few weeks or months and are jumping all over to answer questions :D

    Thanks. I will!

  8. Those menus are from 2014 but as far as cocktails and beers those were the prices onboard a week ago.

Can you point me to the direction of your MDR menus on Divina, if you have some? I saw someone else mention that you had some more recent ones than Gambee's.

    Thanks!

  9. Not sure how up to date they are, but finding menus online is very limited. I did call and ask MSC how much a typical frozen drink was to determine if we wanted any drink packages or not and they told me over the phone $7.25 US dollars. So if things haven't changed since we first booked a few months ago they seem to be what the prices should be.
