Well it had been in the past, but we have not sailed Princess for a couple of years. Would normally leave additional gratuities, so just wondering

We leave on Enchanted tomorrow. We pre booked specialty restaurants ahead of sailing. Are gratuities included or is it charged above what we already paid? Thanks folks!

We love it for the same reasons. Just a little more civilized. Good for the waistline as well!

Leaving on Enchanted on Thursday. Is Breakfast still available in the dining room most days? Just curious as we have not sailed Princess in about two years. Thanks folks.

Leave on the Enchanted in two weeks. Do they have Let It Ride Poker. Thanks folks.

So no more bringing two bottles aboard without corkage fee for consumption in the room?
-
Can you still bring two bottles of wine onboard when embarking? Thanks

No standing around with 50 of your nearest best new friends?

We are booked on Rotterdam for Nov 20th. Part of the booking included a $200 per person excursion allowance. Can excursions be booked online in advance, or do we need to do it once onboard? Thanks folks!

My wife and I are thinking about dipping our toes back in the cruise waters and we are wondering about the requirements regarding Covid testing two days prior to our cruise. We are both three times vaccinated, but we are wondering how folks got the Covid test prior to departure. Is it easy to get the test so close to departure? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. We are just concerned with the narrow window before sailing, that we may have some unanticipated problems! As always, thanks for your time and input. We live in Florida so no flights required.

I can’t answer a lot of your questions, but I did see on the Costco website that you can now cancel a HAL cruise online at their website. You might want to check it out.

I noticed that as well. My guess is that the link that is provided goes directly to the specific cruise line for the purpose of cancelling. I’m guessing HAL doesn’t have the technological where with all to handle that.
I finally got through yesterday after a 4 hour wait, but was able to cancel.

QuoteWhat I don't understand is why the Big Box TA doesn't give HAL passengers the same option they have for RC, Princess and Celebrity who are sailing before 5/31 who wish to cancel. Those passengers send an email and receive a link with additional instructions. It certainly would free up a lot of agents.
I agree--it's a terrible situation for all.

Does anyone have an opinion/knowledge whether you can cancel via email directly with HAL for a reservation made with a big box store TA, or do you need to go to the TA. Guessing hold times may be off the charts! Thanks.

We are leaving in three weeks with two other couples and I’m wondering if on a night or two, we can make a reservation for the six of us to dine together. Some lines permit this by calling or visiting the dining room in advance and making the reservation. Don’t know if Princess allows this, but I’m guessing some of you may know the ropes. Thanks for your help!

Is Let it Ride poker available on most ships, or is just three card poker? Thanks.

Thanks for your suggestions. We may need to rethink our plans. The only thing is I think we may be pretty beat up after the cross country flight, so I don’t know how much we can appreciate after a long flight, but post cruise we might appreciate our time at Fisherman’s wharf. Thanks.

Thank you great suggestion! We may indeed do that option instead of the airport hotels. Any idea how long the ride is from the airport to the wharf? Thanks.

Well it sounds like I’ll need to ask. Did not want to leave an additional tip to have it show up on the folio later on…
