I am curious too. Maybe someone who checked in 14 days out will let everyone know the earliest available time they had as an optionWe checked in at the 14 day mark...around 8am and got an 11:30 time slot. That was the earliest available.

I think I read somewhere else that Carnival sold more rooms than they wanted to on some of the earlier cruises.
-
When we did our check-in for our July 4th cruise, we logged on around 8am. We were able to select 11:30-12:00. As Joe 817 mentioned, when we printed our cruise documents, the luggage tags printed as well...just as before.

We're on the July 4th sailing on Horizon. It will be interesting to see what the capacity is. Can't Wait!

The Carnival Bus transfer from POM to MIA for our upcoming July cruise was very inexpensive.

We typically do at least one load….have done as many as 3 loads ion cruises. As mentioned above, find out where they are on the deck map, and get there early. We take 2 or 3 small packs of detergent (liquid tide packets in a ziplock). That seems to work better for us than the granular detergents in their washers. A few dryer sheets and that’s all you need. I try to be courteous to others and remove our clothes promptly. I’ve seen people leave their clothes in there for hours.

Received the Know Before You Go earlier today. But I cannot copy and paste it…..can’t get it to format correctly. Maybe someone else can get it posted.

Just did it as well….went back and double checked and says completed.

Haven't heard anything yet....guess we'll see when we get onboard! Coming soon!!

We're trying to get my wife's passport renewed now....almost impossible. Need it in 30 days. We'll see what happens.

Our flight departed at 11:45 and we had no problem even with the ridiculously long TSA line. They got the line moving very quickly.

We used Express Shuttle and were very pleased as well. One thing I did notice is that when all of the traffic was stopped and backed up on the major roadways, we cruised right by in the bus lane since we were in a small bus. For that alone I would recommend a shuttle service that uses some type of small bus. Without the Bus Lane we would have been sitting in traffic for quite a while.

Our flight last week departed at 11:45am. The TSA line was the worst that I have ever seen in any airport when we got there (around 9am I believe). I will say that within 15 minutes they had the line moving extremely fast and we were in the terminal by 9:35.

Not sure when you're going, but make sure you check out the spawning salmon in the stream on the left (small parking lot area). There is another trail there you could check out as well.

Like it was said earlier, no seaside theater. However on our cruise last week they showed movies in the Comedy Club. We DID have an on-demand feature on the TV in the stateroom that you could purchase movies if you wanted to.
-
Why not just pre-order your water and have it in your stateroom waiting if its available on the ship you're sailing. Just a thought.

As someone mentioned before, the ship has a lot of people and is busy. However, we were on the Magic a couple weeks ago and found that there is plenty of space and never really felt crowded. Lots of food choices....We were pleasantly surprised with Tandoor, spicy but not too much and there was never a line. Also, Guys Pig & Anchor opened early every day they were scheduled to serve food....never really had any lines there either. You can easily access Cucina del Capitano from the Lido buffet near the dessert bar, just take the stairs up. Have a great time!
-
A couple weeks ago on the Magic, the prior stateroom occupant left his tax paperwork behind which showed he won $7500 on slots! Not so much for anyone in our group though.

Thanks for sharing the review...looking forward to more!

Looking forward to more.....Sailing on the Magic in 5 days!

Two years ago we sailed around an approaching hurricane. They changed one of our ports and gave us an overnight in Aruba. It was a great time! If they hadn't changed our itinerary you wouldn't have even known that there was a hurricane out there.
