Is Camps des Milles someplace you can walk to once you are dropped off in Aix?
-
Trying to decide if we should stay in Marseille and walk around or go to Aix. Not into museums or churches but like to look at architecture, shops and eat local food.
Thanks for any information on either place.

Thanks everyone. Think a cab or metro is the way to go. Is it safe to assume cabs only take euros and not credit cards? Anyone take the port bus from La Ramblas lately?
-
Thanks for the response. Is there enough to do in the area to fill the time you’re there if you just like to walk around, look at architecture, shop and eat? The family is not into going into churches and museums.

Posted this on the Marseills Board but meant to post it here. Has anyone taken this ship excursion? If so, are you really on your own other than the transportation or is there some sort of tour involved (the notes talk about standing and steps at the cathedral but I;m not sure if that is part of the tour or only if you do it on your own when there).
It shows its a 6 hour trip, do you know how long the drive is each way to figure out how long you actually have to walk around Aix?

Will be on Symphony soon and wanted to know if the HOHO bus in Mallorca is near the ship and if there are interesting places to get off an explore. Posting here since this page seems to get quicker responses that the Spain Ports page. Was thinking of doing the Drach caves but the ship's excursion says it's a 75 minute drive and 70 minutes to a pearl factory (that I have no interest in) so I'm wondering about the HOHO bus.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Have a few questions about our Barcelona plans. Planning on taking a taxi to Sagrada Familia (thinking this might be the easiest way). After that, is getting to La Rambla walkable (say 20 minutes) or is there a better way to get there? Is the port bus I've seen mentioned an option for getting from La Rambla back to the port?
We are on Symphony in a few weeks and I'm trying to figure things out.
Thanks!

Should have mentioned that ship doesn't sail to 8pm (so I assume we need to be there by 7pm) but we want to get to the ship in the afternoon and have time for a drink before dinner.

We have a car scheduled to pick us up at our Rome hotel at noon and should get to the ship around 1:30pm. RCL said checking doesn't start until 2:30, should we try to change the time of our pickup?
I was hoping not to have to be at the hotel that long after checkout but I also don't want to have to wait at the cruise terminal for a few hours.
Thanks.

We plan on taking a taxi from the cruise port to Sagrada Familia but after we do our tour want to go to La Rambla. What would be the best way to get there and then back to the ship (RCL Symphony)? Thanks!

Looking at the Refreshment Package for our Symphony cruise) and I'm not sure what they mean by premium coffee. Is it safe to assume they don't mean coffee from Starbucks?
Also, what size is the bottled water that comes with the package? Are you able to get a couple of bottles at the same time for when you are going off the ship to walk around?
Thanks for any information!

Does the beverage package cover coffee at Starbucks (the drip coffee)? If not, does the coffee package cover this or is it just Americano and cappuccino type coffee drinks?
Is the bottle water that goes with this come in large bottles? Can you get regular (still) water?
On Symphony in September. Thanks!

Not sure if I should post this on the Italy board but thought I'd try here first. Going to be on Symphony and I'm nervous about not taking a ship excursion. Wanted to see if anyone has done the Jewels of Cinque Terre tour and how it was. Looking for something that is more explore on your own than follow a guide.
Also looking at the Portofino, Rapallo and Santa Margherita tour. Thanks for any input.

Haven't been on a cruise in awhile so the print your own luggage tags is new to me. Rather than just staple them on can someone suggest a good place to find some sort of holder? Guess I could do a search for something but wanted to see if people have one brand that seems to holdup better. Thanks!

We were wondering if there was a near the Sagrada Familia on the Hop on/off bus. We have tickets early so would it be a good idea to take a taxi there and then do the HOHO bus? Does the bus stop near the cruise dock (on RCL Symphony)?
-
Is there a Starbucks on Symphony? Hubby loves coffee and is wondering if there is a specialty coffee place (just for a better cup of regular coffee).
Thanks.

Thanks for letting me know there is a shuttle. Is it safe to assume the bus runs both ways (to town and back to the ship)?
First time cruising in Europe and not that excited about the ship excursions.

Thank you, we will check out the link you posted.

Thanks for the responses. We like to walk around and look at things, do some shopping and eat local food. Looking forward to the pizza in Naples.

Just wondering if you found out any information, we are on Symphony later this year and (like you) don't see any excursions that we are interested in (don't want to spend most the day on a bus).

On RCL Symphony of the Seas and was wondering if there was anything to see and places to eat right where you get off the ship?
If not, any suggestions on what ship excursion would be best? Honestly, don't want to spend hours on a bus looking at things.
Thanks for your help.

On RCL Symphony of the Seas and wanted to know if we wanted to just walk off the ship and walk around if there was anything interesting to see and places to eat.
Thanks!
Palma HOHO Bus
in Spain and Portugal Ports
Posted
On RCL Symphony very shortly and wanted to visit Old Town and Historic Center (not sure if they are the same). Was planning on taking the HOHO bus from the Port, stop 14 if my searching is correct. Does the HOHO bus actually go to Old Town and if so what stop is it?
Are there any other stops that should not be missed?
