Thank you for sharing.  We have reservations at Tuscan Grill the 1st night.  Which do you prefer between the Tuscan Grill and Murano's.  So excited to join you on the 17th.

We prefer Tuscan.  Murano has lobster, which is what we order there and only reason we choose that specialty restaurant.  I don’t think you can go wrong with any choices, just sharing our preference.  You can get a butcher block steak at Tuscan, if you want meat besides Italian.

  2. Here’s a couple pics in port today.  We aren’t doing any excursions as we don’t think the social distancing is enough as we don’t want to take any chances to miss our b2b.  It was easy and they had space to separate people getting on the excursion, but they missed the opportunity.  There is so much room on the pier to social distance.  Shopping area doesn’t open until 11, so we will see how crowded that gets with limited time to get off the ship.

  3. Adding some info about a tour as Jim and Lain stayed on the ship.  We did the Titou Gorge and Hot Springs.  Gorge is very nice and water was refreshing.  Cool to begin with but nice after a few minutes.  One uses a float as can’t touch ground all the time.  We forgot to bring our water cases for the phones but I was still able to swim/float and keep my phone dry.  Reminder for others, bring the water proof cases.  Some scenes in Pirates of the Caribbean 2 were filmed here.  Hot Springs was also nice and relaxing.  Used the volcanic mud to give us a body wrap.  Rub it on, let is dry, wash it off and skin is smooth.  Relaxed in the steam baths.  Some pools are warmer then others so you can find which one is right for your liking.  More primitive setup compared to Costa Rica spring bath experience but still enjoyable.  We would do this tour again.  Celebrity advises that each guests realizes there is uneven surfaces to walk on and roads are very windy - we agree completely.  Not much in the “shopping area” by the pier, so went back aboard to get Sushi on 5 before they closed.

That's looks wonderful!  I'd love to have a hot tub on our balcony.  How are they handling the hot tubs by the pools?  Is there a reduced limit on # of people allowed in the hot tub at once?

We haven’t seen more then 4 at once but not sure if they are being limited or people are limiting on their own.  We usually don’t use the whirlpool on the sun decks, so this is nice to have each night.  We had dinner delivered to our room tonight, going to get some coffee at Bacio, then back to the jacuzzi for the rest of the evening.  Very peaceful and romantic.

Thank you for all the great info.  We’re on the Equinox on the 17th.  Is it difficult to get appointments in the Persian Gardens?  Do you also need to make appointments for the hot tubs or is there a limit on how many people can be in there at one time?

If you want to use it between 1 and 5, I’d say book when u board.  I don’t have experience with morning hours as we don’t leave the room until lunch.  After 5, I think it’s pretty open.

  6. For the people that want to know about Oceanview for dinner, I’ve attached pics from tonight.  The chef is from Bombay, so the Indian food is very good.  The pasta tonight was warm, at best.  No ability to make your own pasta.  Plenty of choices for an average dinner.  MDR and specialty are better, we just like the relaxed atmosphere a few nights.  Maybe 50 people in total, some wearing masks, most not.

  7. This is our 2nd day in the Persian Garden.  It seems it’s busier during the day but we come at 6, as we eat later.  Nobody in here yesterday and had a couple that was leaving as I was entering today.  If you like the heated beds, u will love it.  The “herbal” steam sauna, on one side, is nice but has no scent.  The “aromatic” dry sauna, on the other side, isn’t very hot and no smell at all either.  There are 2 showers in here as well.  We renewed our vows on this ship 7 years ago and loved the old Persian Garden.  Even the Milli we sailed in June had better saunas, just didn’t have the beds.  With Covid, limited to 8 at a time and need to make an appointment.  I hate making appointments as I just like to experience when I feel like going.  It’s a negative to me but totally understandable.  Just sharing in case others were wondering.

Thanks --- You are definitely getting getting out more than I am.    Also, thanks for helping out posting pictures around the ship.   We also have not yet been up to the Retreat Sun Deck even thought I pass it 25 times a day on my walking.

Being on the ship for 3 weeks I am pacing myself.

I also asked Glenn to discontinue the daily snack trays --    It is a really nice touch and the Shrimp tonight were delicious, but I just can't eat non-stop.   He was very gracious and said no problem but just ring me if you want something in the afternoon.

Glad to help out as we have learned so much from others, I’m just trying to pay it forward.

Not only is Sushi on 5 included, but are the cold pressed juices and smoothies from the Spa Cafe.

I believe Sushi on 5 is open every day for lunch and I was told that it is included for Suites an no surcharge.    I like Sushi ok but not a huge fan.     Seeing the Kobe Sliders may be a great go to place for me as burgers are my favorite thing to eat.

Sushi on 5 is included.  We have eaten there a few times and no charge for our suite.  Not sure it’s free for Sky or Celebrity suites.

Scott, thanks for the pics. And I assume the Day 4 Sushi on Five menu you posted was on a port day. That is great news as we have no plans to go ashore at any port unless we can go on our own in St. Lucia.

This was a port day in St Croix.  We were able to go on our own today, but not much open.  I personally am for mask wearing (but to each their own), but wearing the mask both inside and out made it even hotter and muggier.  All good, as we just wanted to wander around.

Not true at all.    All of the passengers are having a great time.   Last night they had an ABA sing along in main foyer and dancing.    People are saying the shows have been good.   We just don't do shows anymore.

The class structure really doesn't exist as much as people make it appear.     We socialize with many in standard cabins, we just happen to be in a suite.

Last night we met Scott (I'll have look up his CC Name).     He was in  a Concierge Cabin and got upgraded to a Royal.    Really nice guy.   I'm happy he stopped us at Al Bacio to introduce himself.

It was great meeting the both of you last night as well.  Now, we will probably run into each other every few hours now.  LOL
