Well, when you're a knucklehead and don't notice you left the Activity Level choice on Mild, they don't show up. :rolleyes:

Once I found them though, they're the same exact trips, offered by the same company, just $30 more because they're through the ship. If I was doing something the last day and cutting it close, I'd pay the extra.

Similar question. I'm not seeing any type of snorkel excursion on our August Celebrity Summit cruise. I'm guessing I've got to go private?

Not interested in anything with a "follow the guide" with a lot of swimming, but more along the lines of stop above a reef, look around and climb back onboard. One of our party is not a strong swimmer but loves to look at fish, etc.

A half day, two or three spots would be ideal. Even better if they offer water, beer, rum punch on the way back.

Does the ship always dock in the same direction in Bermuda? We have a port side balcony and I'm wondering if we'll have sun in the morning or afternoon?

You're confusing the M-Class with the S-Class. Mast Grill on S-Class, and Pool Grill on M-Class. Since this thread is about Summit, an M-Class ship, smoking only on Deck 4, port side, Pool Deck, port side, and Mast Bar, port side. That's it.

Thanks Wine-O, I saw Mast Bar and assumed there was also a Mast Grill but couldn't find it on the deck plans. Does the Pool Grill have the same hamburger/hot dog type of fare?

Live music!!

There's live music everywhere, and it's quite good. I think there are 5 resident acts this summer--a piano guy (70s pop stuff mostly), an acoustic guitar guy, a duo who lean a little country (beautiful voices), a Latin combo and a rock/pop combo, both with great vocalists.

No Caribbean/Reggae music by the pool?? What do they play up there?

I'd read on one of the CC posts that smoking was allowed on the port side on decks 4 and 10 and at the Sunset and Mast bars (port side). However, the post was from quite a while ago and I know things change frequently, so I was looking for more up to date info. I know it's verboten anywhere inside and on balconies.

On a different note, I've seen reference to the Mast Grill. Is that what's labeled as the Pool Grill on deck 10 in the deck plans online?

Also, forgot to ask, which bars allow smoking?

We'll also be on Summit in August. Our first time on Celebrity and I'm curious how it'll compare.

Is there much live music and if so, how is it?

If you ever figure out the picture issue, can you post something with the drink menu? We're debating between packages, but it's hard to tell if you don't know what the price of mixed/frozen drinks are.

I'll be cruising to Bermuda for the first time in August. My 19 year old niece has never been snorkeling before and I told her I'd take her. My 50 year old husband will also be joining us. He's a very poor swimmer and needs a hip replacement. What would be the best spot to accommodate both of them. Facilities/entertainment nearby would be a plus, but not necessary.

Come to think of it, we have our own equipment, but I'm sure she doesn't so that's also a factor.

I was thinking snorkeling from shore, but if there's a better option via boat, I'm open to suggestions.

Is there a price list available anywhere so we know which package we should get? I need to make sure it includes Heineken, Miller Lite, Sam Adams, and an occasional Bloody Mary, Pina Colada and BBC type frozen drinks.

I'd hate to get the $45 package and find out it doesn't include Heineken.

Also, do the packages includes shots?

Now that the new policy has taken effect, can anyone tell me if they still allow smoking at the Sky Bar on Voyager or Freedom class ships?
