112 days on the Carnival Fantasy out of Charleston SC. This will be my second time on the Fantasy but the first time with my wife!! I am so looking forward to this cruise!!!! Nassau, Grand Turk and Halfmoon Cay!

I'm wondering when the formal night is on a 7 day cruise. I was told by someone that it is the dinner on the first full day at sea. Can anyone confirm this. I've never been one to get all dressed up but I'm married now and my wife like to to get dressed up occasionally.

I'm sailing solo on the Epic in December. Thanks for the info. I like the idea of a solo lounge. Should make meeting fellow solo travelers an easier task.

Thanks for the feedback. I usually bring cash but guess I could just charge it to a credit card and pay later. I will be aboard the Epic in a studio cabin.

I'm a first time NCL cruiser. I have only cruised Carnival in the past. Carnival had kiosk for managing money. I could add to my card anytime. Does NCL have the same.

Like others have said, I can't wait for my friends to go on vacation. Since I'm traveling solo I can call all the shots. I also like the idea of a cabin all to myself.

Hey there solo cruisers, my name is Glenn and I'm 48 years old and single. I have been on one cruise before and that was on the Carnival Destiny in 2009. I traveled with family that time. I need a vacation and I cant wait for my friends to have time off. So its solo for me. I am a bit nervous but I'm sure I'll be fine. I guess the MDR does have me a little anxious. I'm attending the meet and greet for our roll call so I can meet some folks there. I am also taking my guitar to enter the talent show. That might also be a good place to meet some folks. I have shore excursions planned for all three port calls. One is swimming with the dolphins! Anyhow I'm looking forward to a solo vacation!
