Would this be equivalent to the American Wrinkle Downey Release product? Always wondered what was in that stuff. A great tip, thanks

I was thinking the same thing. Great call out!

As a first time cruiser, friends have told me to bring large beach towel pegs which attach to deck chair to stop towels from blowing off balcony; a hanging shoe bag with lots of pockets, to hang on bathroom door; a hanging ring with pegs attached to hang up swimmers to dry; laundry bag to carry clothes to laundry and a couple of laundry tablets; highlighter pens to highlight activities in the cruise paper, post it notes, & small first aid kit. So, as first time cruisers, would love to hear if these things would be a good idea, from people who would know.
On our last couple cruises, my wife and I have used the shoe rack that attaches to a door for all of the bathroom items. Its always worked well and makes the small bathrooms feel a little larger without all of the items scattered on the counter.:D

Asian cruises have a vastly different demographic to that sailing out if Australia.
For example. Many of the bar staff were stood down during Legend's Asian itinerary but the Casino was overflowing with big spenders.
Smoking was also allowed however, as soon as we left Indonesia the Casino became smoke free and Australian rules were put in place.
I suspect the same will be happening on her Hong Kong repo.

Thats very interesting. We will be on her in March and I am trying to take all of the negative reviews with a big salt cube :)

No corkage fees anywhere on the ship.
Awesome! Thanks for the quick response Bob!

One question to add onto this one as I have seen contradictory answers in other threads... Are you charged a corkage fee to bring them on board? To open in a restaurant/bar?
Thanks for any and all help!!!

Hi all,
We will be traveling on the Legend of the Seas in a couple months out of Brisbane's Portside Wharf and am interested to hear about the embarkation experience. I have read a slew of terrible reviews for the Legend on its cruises through Asia and the majority seem to revolve around the poor experience of the embarkation in Singapore.
Looking forward to hearing if its an issue of the Legend or if it was simply the cruise terminals in questions. Thanks!
Mitch

Thank you so much for your review! I am excited to see what the reviews look like over the next couple months. I'm interested to hear 1) how the demographic of the ship changes as the Brisbane locals take part in the cruise [i.e. younger families or still more of an older crowd?] and 2) does the "tiredness" of the ship improve?
Thanks again for taking time to review the ship and your experiences!
