  1. Great, thank you for your time and effort. Now we know what to do.
  2. Sorry we are first timers on Cunard. We usually cruise Holland America Line where 18,50$ is added to the bill esch day per person for the tips. On top of that we tip staff that we connected with. We live and book in Germany and our agencies list the tips on Cunard as included and mention that one can fill out a paper at the end of the cruise and give a tip to the crew or tip individually if you want to. We thought that these are the tips on top of the already paid one. But having very inexpensive cruise fares I feel like they translated optional and included wrongly. Of course we want to tip if it is not prepaid with the cruise fare. How is the system on Cunard?! Many thanks 🙏
  3. Thank you very much for your messages. That sounds just perfect. We will book the cruises.
  4. Thank you for all the informations within the Cunard board here. As I have never sailed with Cunard it was full of useful information. We have been very loyal with Holland America Line (200 nights) and it feels like Cunard should fit for us too. We think about to board the QV for 4 weeks on the 22nd of July. Can someone guess which crowd will be on the ship? Needless to say that if we like HAL we do like a more quiet life onboard. So here is the main question. Will there be many families onboard during the summer holidays? I can see some kids and have no problem with them but I like to have a quiet dinner and read in the library without having it transferred into a kindergarden playground. We haven't cruised the Mediteranian for a long time and I remember that even on HAL the crowd was younger and with kids. Thank you for any "Cunard summer holiday experiences".
  5. Thank you for doing this. We were on the Grand SA last year with the Volendam and have friends onboard now. You offer a great opportunity to follow this very special cruise. 🙏
