I am not being the lanyard police but I was wondering since we are cruising with my 7 year old grandson if it is safe to wear around his neck? Does anyone have any experience with the plastic coil band around their wrists?

I called to prepay my gratuities after the Jan 2nd deadline and was not charged the new rate.
-
Thank you for the number to call. I appreciate it.

I booked the cruise myself and was calling the number on the email Royal Caribbean sent about the increase in gratuities. I will find a different number to call, hopefully, and request a new booking in order to talk to an agent. Thank you.

Dang, I tried calling them but because it is a holiday, the recording said they are closed. Maybe I should try a different number.

With the price of gratuities increasing tomorrow, I was trying to pay them on-line but have been unable to find out how. Our cruise is paid for since it is a March sailing. Can anyone tell me how I can prepay them?

Thank you

I haven’t cruised in awhile but when you chose MTD, you had to prepay your tips. Is that still the case?

DrD-that looks like my house! So glad to see the sun and blue skies today. Have a great time on your cruise. We are flying out in about 40 hours for our second time on Allure.

We brought once once when there where 4 of us in the cabin. It was so great to have and I would recommend it; however, it was annoying hanging on the bathroom door. Since then, there have only been two of us in a cabin and have not needed it.

Are Jr. Suite guests allowed to eat in the Costsl Kitchen for lunch? I thought I had read where they could eat lunch but not dinner there.

Thank you! I will

Does anyone have a phone number for RCCL Club Royale? My sister is going on her second cruise next March and she just realized she is a gold member with MLife. I think there are some perks she would get. I advised her to call and find out.

We received the email on Friday explaining the fraud and received our new BOA cards today. Very fast.

After an expensive Mexican resort vacation in 2002 with extremely bad weather for the whole week, we decided to try cruising. We figured the weather wouldn't be bad at all the ports if we were cruising. Being totally green to cruising, we let our TA handle all the arrangements. She suggested Voyager of the Seas. Great choice! We went in October 2003. One balcony cabin for myself, DH and our two kids. At that time they were too young for their own cabin but that was the only time all four of us were in one cabin. I had just become aware of Cruise Critic and brought an over the door shoe organizer. That was a lifesaver. We also took the red eye flight arriving at the cruise terminal at 10am the day of the cruise. Have never done that since as it took us two days to recover.
So after 8 Royal Caribbean cruises, we have never encountered bad weather, only missed one port due to wind, and always fly in a day or two before the cruise. It is truly addicting.

Does the trolley run in December? We are staying at the Embassy Suites for two nights pre cruise and would like use the water taxi one day. I have read that it is a seven block walk to the Hilton Marina, the closest water taxi stop. So would rather take the trolley although we could walk.

Thanks for the review and the awesome pictures.

We've got 7338 & 7340 for our B2B on the Freedom next January. I LOVE the hump cabins!
Is 7338 ports side or starboard side?

You are probably correct.
To other - I have no problem with my 7 year old grandson carrying his own sea pass card. It was a safety issue with the lanyard around his neck that I was concerned with.
