  1. Thank you for your review!

It sounds like you had a cabin similar to mine on my upcoming cruise. Did you have good internet speed inside your cabin or on your balcony?

    Thanks in advance.

We were on Deck 9 on the same cruise, Internet worked everywhere and fast! The Two70 very impressive! The decor is very chic and modern. The officers, including the Captain were very visible. The Bionic Bar was something not to be missed!

  2. We are on the March 21 sailing and we haven't been able to book entertainment either. If you go to our Roll Call, you can read the various responses but most people have said that it might be 3 weeks to 45 days prior to cruising before you can book those. I was able to book all dining, the complimentary I Fly but not the north star. I am not sure they take reservations for that. Good luck!

Keep checking.... We are on March 13rd, and I checked today and the

    reservations were open!!:)

  3. I have been pricing the SD to Vancouver 6 day cruise from 5/16-5/22/2015 with stops in Catalina, San Francisco, and Vancouver on the Jewell of The Seas.

I am sticker shocked at the prices. A Jr. Suite for 4, including 2 children sailing free on the Kids Sail Free Promo, is over 6,000.00- two thousand more than a 7 day, 4 ports of call cruise if call sailing on the Freedom in the Caribbean.

An E1 balcony is over 3000.00.

Can anyone explain these extremely high prices for a 6 day cruise with only 2 ports of call. Vancouver is # 3- the disembarkation port. I have been on 29 cruises and never seen such high prices for the product offered.

    Thank you.

Lots of people were very excited to learn RC was going to do the west coast! Myself, being one of the many, we booked the day they were all released! As mentioned ...... Demand!

  4. Any suggestions for a good place to eat - I am looking for good Mexican food - not a place that specializes in tequila shots or margaritas.

Thanks for any ideas you may have. ;)

Our recommendation is " Cabo Blue " search it or check it out on trip advisor. The owners are super friendly and the food is A+ . And there is always the Mango Deck on the beach! Very entertaining and great food

  5. I'm looking for Patters, Menus and movies on MUTS for the recent Alaska itinerary on the Grand. Anybody???

Hi... We were on the Grand June 1st. I was not impressed with the Dining Room Menu. The Grill was worth every penny! Excellent food and Service. The pizza on deck 5 was very good, it would be nice to add a salad on the menu. The Horizon did not impress us, always very crowded and all the food tasted the same.

  6. Good evening all. I am doing some final packing and will be heading to Seattle on Saturday. I will be doing a live from blog. Well as live as I can. I will only be posting while in ports. I have great internet as long as we are in ports. I will be happy to answer questions as I go but please have patients with me. This is my first princess cruise but not first to Alaska. I can't wait.

    Wendy

We will be on the ship with you! Looking forward to your review.

  7. I can guarantee you it is the Wonder. It will go there after Alaska.

An site similar to cruise critic announced on Face book the month of Oct 2015 the wonder will do a few 3 and 5 day RD trip from San Diego!!! Yay

  8. Just saw a news item from 10News, one of the San Diego TV stations, regarding Disney returning to San Diego. DCL has a news release on their web site with the details.

Bookings open to the public on May 21, 2014. More details on 2015 itineraries can be found in their news release as well as the "Itineraries and Ports for 2015" section on the disneycruise dot com web site.[/

    So Excited!

  9. thanks for your nice comments. we do indeed have a wonderful time and can only wonder at people who are fortunate enough to be on a world cruise and still complain.

right now we're at The Boatyard in Bridgetown, Barbados and I highly recommend it. there's a beach like powdered sugar, water at about 85 degrees, a $20.00 entrance fee which can be used as a credit at the restaurant/bar, and happy hour beginning at 10:00 AM. what could be better?

In answer to your question, we have just booked Ft. Lauderdale to Dubai next year because we promised our granddaughter we wouldn't miss her birthday again on April 11.

I have enjoyed cruising right along with you!!! Thank You!! I totally agree with you on going to the Boatyard!!

  10. Brilliance has an aft Grand Suite on Deck 10. May be the case for the other Radiance class ships as well, but I'm to lazy to check deck plans right now. :o

We had the aft GS 1600 on the Brillance. It is the corner, the cabin is laid out different than the other GS we have stayed in. Closet is much smaller. Our balcony was smaller than the JS next door. No shade. First Aft and will probably go back to midship GS

  11. Love your "Live". We will be on an April 15 day and on Caribe. We have been on other Princess ships with Caribe but as you mentioned this room is a little different. Can you let me know if the layout in many of the Caribe balcony rooms are similiar. We will be forward in the 200's. Thanks so much for doing all this work.

We are as well on the Caribe in the 230's for our Alaska Cruise. Would like to know about the balconys Thank You

  12. I have to agree with previous posters. It was one of our highlights. So much fun. They will take pictures and email them to you. We were responsible for getting to their location and returning to ship. In November the taxi was 15.00 each way. Enjoy!
