    From Google maps, Pointe Seraphine and La Place Carenage is like across from each other. The main terminal appears to be Pointe Seraphine and the Gem is the only ship in port on that date so the Gem will most likely dock at Pointe Seraphine. La Place Carenage looks like a cargo ship area that is only used when they have two ships in port on the same day

     thank you the Dawn docked at  La Place Carenage not a very passenger friendly area cargo and when you go through the terminal very little shopping and the front door on the curb . very dirty area did not feel safe

  2. Ncl is changing ships in Boston for the 2019 Season to the Gem I am great full to see a new ship how ever why such a huge increase in price same deck same location and charged 2 k more ,

    there was a recent post on face book said We have done the Dawn to Bermuda 7 years, checking pricing for the Gem for 2019, the same owners suite on the germ will be 3-4K more than this year on the Dawn.

    just curious on thoughts . may have to re think my booking for 10 deck 10 inside cabin will pay over 3500.00 for Oct. 2019:cool:

    Dear valued guest and partners;

    We appreciate your patience while we continue to work to secure a modified itinerary that will provide an outstanding guest experience for your upcoming cruise. We understand that you are anxious for your new itinerary and we are working to finalize port availability with our partners on the ground. We expect the itinerary, including five ports of call, to be confirmed shortly and in the interim wanted to confirm that the ship will be sailing from Boston on November 3 and arriving in San Juan on November 12 so that you can be confident in any airfare or other travel arrangements that you have made for this cruise.

    As soon as we have a final itinerary, we will advise immediately. We hope that this alleviates some of your concerns and sincerely appreciate your continued support.

    Sincerely,

    This must be for Nov 12 I am on the Sailing out of Boston Nov 3 one of the few trips that has not published the changes yet

  7. Received notification from NCL yesterday that the Dawn on December 3rd, is departing from San Juan as scheduled. I would post the email if I knew how. Maybe check your spam folder for the email. The only changes are the St Maartin and St Thomas ports. Hope this helps. I will also be on this cruise. The Embassy Suites canceled my reservation so now I'm looking for another beachfront hotel for post cruise stay.

    Did the say what St. Maartin and St Thomas ports are replaced with . I called last night and woman told me on the phone that Not going to Tortola as we got a refund for and Excursion.

  8. Nov.12-19 is leaving and ending SJ. Barbados, St. Kitts, Martinique, Antiqua, St. Croix. I have NO hotel, was emailed saying closed until Dec. 31, Old SJ Sheraton, can find nothing . I have rebooked air to fly in same day of cruise, the 12th, going straight to cruise ship via NCL transfer so not to be concerned about taxi not being plentiful. Transfer via ncl back to airport post cruise. Was told by a NCL rep when i asked why St. Croix because it is a MESS, still taking people of island as of yesterday., " this will be a great spa day".......yep. that was i was told. There are no excursions available when i called tonight to check for St. C. That tells me they are docking to kill time before docking SAN Juan at 6 am. No ports available for them i'm thinking other than this one. Realize the people need the income from us but if island is in shambles what do they have to share? Oh well. We are going and hoping for the best.

    I loved this the last time is was there .

  9. We are on the Dawn repo Nov 3 and still don't know where we're going or where we're going to end up.

    I spoke to NCL this morning and no decision as of yet there was a price drop she told me I could move my cabin if I wanted.

    I got the impression she knew what they were going to release but held back just saying some changes may come out next week she would not commit.

  10. Don't send money cancel while you can I'm stuck in the dawn on 11/12 out of San Juan and they won't even let me switch to the escape. NCL is expecting people to go down to Puerto Rico when people are trying to escape there. They can't make any decisions on this cruise it is a joke cancel while you can

    I am on the NCL DAWN out of Boston on Nov 3, I called them yesterday this of course just about time from them to release info as promised to let us know now they say they are still working on this and I see we only have till Nov 1 to make flight changes . as of this morning ncl still no idea. as far as they were concerned the woman I spoke to it was a go out of boston but have no idea where it is going
